Out here, it's the sun and the salt that beat the paint, not the brush.

You've had a place painted before and it looked great for a year. Then the western wall started to chalk, the trim peeled at the edges, and the touch-up someone did never quite matched.

Nine times out of ten that's prep, not paint. Whoever did it rolled straight over the old coat to get off site by Friday. On the coast, where the sun and the salt go at a wall all day, that's the first thing to let go.

I do it the slow way at the start so you're not repainting in two years. Here's what that actually means.

Here’s what you actually get

  • Surfaces sanded, filled and primed before a drop of finish goes on
  • Two finish coats as standard, not one coat rushed over the old
  • Walls, ceilings, trim and doors inside
  • Render, weatherboard, fascia and eaves outside
  • Rust treated on the metalwork before it's painted over
  • Strata common areas: hallways, lobbies, stairwells and car parks
  • Drop sheets down, tidied up each day, and a walk-through with you at the end
Great service from start to finish. Communication was excellent, the work was done promptly and efficiently, and they were very easy to deal with. Highly recommend for reliable property maintenance.

Your options

Interior

Walls, ceilings, trim and doors. Filled, sanded and finished in two coats.

Exterior

Render, weatherboard, fascia and eaves. Metalwork gets the rust treated before paint goes near it, because that's what fails first on the coast.

Your colour scheme

Dulux or Taubmans by default, or whatever brand, colour and finish you or your building manager specify. For strata buildings I keep the colour-match on file so the next touch-up blends in.

Why owners and managers keep my number

It comes down to one thing. You make one call, and I handle the rest. Here’s how it runs.

  1. 1

    You tell me the job

Phone, a text with a photo, or a work order straight from your strata software. I get back to you the same business day.

  2. 2

I quote it on site, fixed price

You see what it costs before anything starts. Where the job needs a licensed tradesperson, their licence number goes on your quote.

  3. 3

    The right tradesperson does it

I manage the job on site, photograph it, and send you one itemised invoice in your format. You never deal with the tradie, and you never chase anyone.

Body corporates and property managers keep me on their books because it’s one number, one accountable contact, one itemised invoice. You’re not briefing a different crew every visit, and you’re not reconciling four bills for one job.

Questions I get asked about painting & decorating

How long does a paint job take?
A single room is usually a day or two. A full repaint or an exterior runs several days, and the prep, the size and the weather are what move it. A wet week stops an exterior, and I'd rather wait for a dry run than trap moisture under the paint. You get a firm timeline on the quote.
What does it cost?
The quote is free and fixed before we start. It comes down to inside or out, the area, and how much prep there is: sanding, filling, rust treatment, stripping wallpaper. Then the number of coats, whether you're changing colour or matching, and the access, because eaves and upper levels mean ladders or scaffold.
How many coats do you do?
Two finish coats over the prep, as standard. A single coat is only ever to match back to an existing wall that isn't scuffed. If someone's quoted you cheaper, it's worth asking how many coats that price is really for.
Do you do touch-ups for strata buildings?
Yes. For a building I've painted I keep the colour-match on file, so when a wall gets scuffed next year the repair blends in instead of leaving a patch a shade off. Quotes go to the committee in the format your manager works in.
Can you do just one room or a small patch?
Yes. A feature wall, one bedroom, a scuff repair after a tenant moves out. Small jobs are regular work, not just whole-house repaints.
