Property maintenance in Mermaid Waters
Mermaid Waters is a settled, family-home suburb built around its canals and lakes, sitting just back from the beach beside Broadbeach. Lake Hugh Muntz anchors the middle of it, and a lot of the housing is on generous blocks with water frontage, much of it lived in by the same families for years. Property Repairs GC looks after the practical upkeep these homes need — from the deck out the back to the kitchen, bathroom and fences.
One number takes the brief. Paul handles many of the trades himself and brings in a licensed specialist for anything that needs one — plumbing, electrical, fire — with their licence number written on your quote. You deal with one accountable person and settle one invoice, whether it is a single repair or a full room. Quotes are free and fixed-price.
The canal and lakefront blocks are what set Mermaid Waters apart, and they bring their own maintenance list. Timber decks, jetties, pontoon walkways and pool surrounds sit in constant brackish air, so boards weather, fixings corrode and railings work loose faster than they would inland. We rebuild and repair canal-front decks, replace rusted bolts and boards, and run regular oil-and-seal work to keep them sound rather than letting them go past saving.
Inland of the water it is solid family housing — three- and four-bedroom homes, plenty of them original brick-and-tile, where the everyday work is kitchens, bathrooms, internal repairs, painting and fencing. Boundary and pool fencing gets a lot of use here, and dividing fences between neighbours are a regular job we can quote and, if you want, manage the neighbour conversation on too. Because owners tend to stay put, we see a lot of repeat work and value getting the small things right.
